Source problem with faulty garden uplights and repair
I called Michael based on his Checkatrade profile and ratings. He was very helpful on the phone and walked me through isolating the problem and temporarily dealing with it. That was before I had hired him for the job – I was impressed. We then booked an appointment for him to visit and assess the problem more fully. He was able to rewire one of the lights but because one of the buried junction boxes was shorting out, he needed to rewire the garden. That was done a week or so later. I was very pleased with the quality of work and the price. Michael is very polite, professional and friendly.
Bathroom light pull replaced and door entry phone fixed
Great communication, Michael came with in an hour of us posting our job and the quote came through very quickly. The work was undertaken quickly and to a very high standard. With out a doubt I use Wood electrical again and would recommend them highly. So pleased to have found a great professional company who are happy to do all types of jobs.
New spots throughout house
Mike is incredibly responsive. Whenever I’ve called him, he either picks up quickly or phones me back within minutes. He quoted for a job, had to do a little extra but didn’t charge for the extra. I’ve spoken to him since on another small problem and he gave me some advice on the phone that saved me the cost of a call out. He’s got a great team too. He’s courteous and helpful. One of the good ones!
New Radiator installed and old one re-fixed to the wall
Very polite and professional. Explained things in a non-patronising but simple manner, also was very clean and tidies up afterwards! Helpful with follow-up emails and continued to make contact about other issues beyond the initial query.
EICR report and remedial works
I approached Michael Wood on the weekend and he promptly confirmed the appointment for Monday. Having conducted the tests on site, remedial work was needed and instantly undertaken given the tight deadline and a satisfactory outcome was achieved. His professionalism is rarely seen in domestic call outs. Thanks Michael and I will happily recommend you.
